Guitar Hero To Become A TV Show?

Get ready for… Guitar Hero Idol, maybe! There’s some rumblings going on that Activision Blizzard is considering turning Guitar Hero into a TV show, reports Nicholas Deleon of CrunchGear.

It’d either be an American Idol-esque contest show or more along the lines of a reality show. (Those are still around, reality shows?) Yes, perhaps the dumbest idea to ever come out of the United States of America.

But, that’s just my lowly opinion. You’d be a fool to not recognize that Guitar Hero and its ilk are mad popular these days, and there certainly wouldn’t be a lack of people willing to try out.

And, presumably, if people are still willing to sit through American Idol, why wouldn’t they sit through Guitar Hero Idol? I imagine it’d be huge in high schools. The guys would watch the hate on the contestants (“I’m better than that jerk”) and the girls would swoon and fight over who has the nicest eyes.

There was a show like that actually. I forget the name but I remember Johnny Rotten was a judge.

I think that saying people that play guitar hero have no talent is a bit harsh, because it does take a degree of hand eye coordination to bee good at the game, but if they spent all the time they played the game practicing on a real guitar they would probably be well on their way to being decent musicians.

KIDS SHOULD BECOME PRODIGYS IN GUITAR PLAYING LIKE SOME CHILDREN AGED 10 AND UNDER ARE! ive seen several kids who are very young and play insanely awesome like one time i saw a chinese kid play crazy train perfectly and on a regular sized guitar and better yet he made the song better his own way and added a couple of stuff in there, now i can play crazy train but adding to a song thats already badass is wow unbelievable so my point is if children start at a young age practicing and learning an instrument besides using GH, then hell theyd probably start a new music revolution or some sh#t when theyre older and overall again a tv of GH is a horrible idea
